Summer Silver Jewellery Perfect for Holidays

I love the Summer; I love leaving coats and jumpers behind and wearing sandals and strappy summer dresses. I love how light it is in the morning and the wonderful long warm evenings. I always loved it when the children broke up from school and we started looking forward to our summer holiday away. My two boys are back from university now (with all the chaos that comes with them) and we can’t wait to get away. This year more that ever, everyone is excited about their holidays. (fingers and toes crossed that the flights aren’t cancelled, or our bags lost)

So, you booked your holiday months ago and whether you are going to the beaches of Cornwall, a city break in Milan or lying by a pool in Crete (children allowing!) – you need to plan you holiday wardrobe. Summer is all about colour and vibrancy, the sunshine, blue skies and seas and bold bright colours in nature all around us. For two reasons jewellery should be a key part of your holiday look. Firstly, you are limited in how much luggage you can take (unless maybe you’re Victoria Beckham…) and jewellery really doesn’t take up much suitcase space, but it can transform an outfit – if you wear the same sun-dress or jumpsuit a few times you can change the look by adding different jewellery and accessories. Secondly, we clearly wear far less on holiday and jewellery can become the real star – add that little bit of bling to you neck, wrists, and ears to bring you skin baring look to life.

There are some pieces of jewellery you should leave at home though. Holidays are a break from the stress and worries of everyday so please don’t take any jewellery which is particularly expensive or has huge sentimental value.
